Our Passions, Priorities and Practices
Nisga’a people have harvested plants since time immemorial. Nisga’a Wild medicine was revived in 2012 by a handful of like minded individuals who gathered together to have tea, identify plants and harvest or gather the Wild Plants and Traditional Medicines on Nisga’a Lands.
We are guided by a formal advisory board and local Elders and Experts in Traditional Medicine operating and abiding by the Laws of the Nisga’a land. Currently, we are based out of our homes, and all of the plants are hand picked, dried, processed into medicine, and packaged in a respectful and mindful environment.
